Art Dolls on Stands
These dolls are made using a technique learned from Lisa Renner, I make these dolls with soft fabric bodies and polymer clay faces and hands. For the bodies I paint, stencil, or dye over a background that I have either dyed or purchased.
The polymer faces are made from molds, features and make-up added after the polymer is baked and then covered with a liquid polymer and baked again. I add the hair and then attach the faces to the doll bodies.  Arms and hands are then constructed and added to the dolls.
Each doll is embellished individually and then given a name and a short biography.
